On 9 July 2025, our team presented the CO2PED project at the AESOP 2025 Congress in Istanbul, under Track 05 – Environment and Climate. The presentation, titled “Positive Energy Districts (PEDs) as a Climate-Resilient Solution for Social Housing,” explored how the Positive Energy District (PED) framework can be applied to the context of social housing, drawing on recent research and engagement activities in Portugal. It highlighted CO2PED’s integrated approach to energy transition, climate adaptation, and social equity at the neighborhood scale.
